Data Security

Data security refers to the prevention of data loss and protection of data against damage, unauthorised access or faslification.

Protection against data loss
So that you do not lose your data,  Backups must be made in regular intervals. Ideally, you can set up backups to be made automatically on another server at predetermined times, so that the security copy is always updated.

Protection against manipulation and falsification of data
So that only authorised users can read and manipulate data, the data transfer and strorage have to be restricted and controlled. If an unauthorised change is made nevertheless, the system has to remain in place,  to be able to track these changes. Appropriate security protocols, digital signatures and block schecksums protect data securtiy.
